Vice District Head Xu Bin and his delegation visited the site to observe the new generation of intelligent waterjet cutting equipment for wind turbine blades. This equipment integrates high-pressure waterjet technology and industrial machine vision recognition technology, enabling precise cutting of decommissioned wind turbine blades using dual robots. Its efficiency is significantly higher than traditional cutting equipment (such as angle grinders, circular saws, or wire saws), addressing the core problems of “difficulty in cutting, slow cutting speed, and high pollution” in the recycling and dismantling process of wind turbine blades. Vice District Head Zhao Bing fully affirmed the equipment, stating that this wind turbine blade waterjet cutting equipment aligns with the direction of green and low-carbon development, possesses independent core technologies, and fully meets the requirements for cultivating new productive forces in the new district.
